Terms of Service
Last updated: October 30, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and en.my ("we", "us"). They apply to our website, your homepage, the dashboard and all related features (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who can use en.my
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms with you. Accounts of users under 18 have extra protections ("safe mode").
- You must give accurate information when you sign up, including your email and birth year, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.
- You may not use the Service if we have previously suspended you, or if the law where you live forbids it.
2. Usernames and addresses
- Usernames are first come, first served. Some names are reserved or premium and cannot be registered without our permission.
- You may change your username from your Settings, subject to the waiting period shown there. After a change, your old address redirects to the new one for a limited time and cannot be taken by someone else during that time.
- We may change or reclaim a username that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark, is misleading or offensive, or belongs to an account that has been inactive for a long time.
3. Your content
- You keep all rights to the content you create and publish, including text, links, page designs, journal posts and comments ("Your Content").
- To run the Service you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, format and distribute Your Content on and through the Service (for example on your homepage, in Explore, in RSS feeds and in previews). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept for a limited time in backups or where we must keep them by law.
- en.my does not host uploads. Images and media on your pages are linked from other websites. You must have the right to share everything you link to or embed, and you are responsible for it.
- Your public pages, posts and comments can be seen by anyone and may be indexed by search engines, unless you make a page private or it is protected by safe mode.
4. Things you must not do
You must not use the Service to publish, link to or promote:
- anything illegal in Malaysia or in the country where you live;
- sexual content involving minors in any form (we report it to the authorities), and pornography or sexually explicit content;
- hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, or content that promotes violence, terrorism or violent extremism;
- content that encourages self-harm, suicide or eating disorders;
- the sale of illegal or regulated goods and services, such as drugs, weapons, counterfeit products or unlicensed gambling;
- scams, phishing, malware, fake giveaways, pyramid schemes or misleading links and redirects;
- spam, including keyword stuffing, mass-produced pages and pages made only to place links;
- impersonation of any person or organisation, or other people's private information (such as addresses, phone numbers or ID numbers) without their consent;
- content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights.
You also must not: interfere with or attack the Service, scrape it at scale, create accounts automatically, get around a suspension or our limits, or artificially inflate views, likes, follows or comments.
5. Selling and ordering
You may list your own products and services and let visitors contact you, for example through WhatsApp ordering or booking links. Any sale is a contract between you and your customer only. en.my is not a party to it and is not responsible for products, payments, delivery, refunds or disputes. Sellers must follow all laws that apply to them, including consumer protection and tax laws.
6. Community features
Guestbooks, comments, journals, likes, follows and webrings are there to connect people. Page owners can approve, hide and delete comments on their pages and should remove anything that breaks these Terms. We may also remove content and restrict these features for anyone who misuses them.
7. Advertising
- The Service is free in part because of advertising. We may show ads, including ads served by Google AdSense and other advertising partners, on our own pages, in the dashboard, and in a small footer area on user homepages. VIP members may get fewer or no ads where we say so.
- You may promote your own work, products and services on your page. You may not add third-party ad code to your page, and you must not disguise ads as normal content.
- You must never click ads on purpose to earn or cost money, ask others to click them, or use bots or other tricks to create fake ad impressions or clicks.
- Unless we agree otherwise in writing, ad revenue belongs to en.my and you are not entitled to a share.
- How advertising uses cookies and personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
8. VIP and paid features
VIP and other paid features are optional. Prices, what is included and the billing period are shown when you buy. We may change, add or remove features over time. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable. If your account is suspended for breaking these Terms, you lose access to paid features without a refund. If VIP ends, VIP-only templates, fonts, effects and private pages return to the free options, but your content is kept.
9. Reports and copyright complaints
Anyone can report a page using the Report link on every homepage or our report page. If you believe content on en.my infringes your copyright, send us a notice with: your name and contact details; a description of the work; the address of the page with the infringing material; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised; and a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner. We may remove the material and tell the page owner, who may reply with a counter-notice. We suspend the accounts of repeat infringers.
10. Moderation, suspension and deleting your account
- We may review, hide or remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, put others at risk or expose us to legal liability. Where reasonable we will tell you why. Serious or repeated violations may lead to removal without notice.
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings. This removes your pages, posts and comments from the Service. Some information may stay in backups for a limited time, or where we must keep it by law.
11. Third-party services and links
Pages may contain embeds and links to other websites and services (such as YouTube, Spotify, Instagram, WhatsApp or online shops). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Their own terms apply.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, including that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that content will never be lost. We do not endorse content posted by users. Keep your own copies of anything important; VIP members can download their site as HTML.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, en.my will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of RM100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under laws that cannot be excluded, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999 where it applies.
14. Indemnity
You agree to compensate en.my for claims, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) caused by Your Content or by your breach of these Terms or of the law.
15. Changes
We may update the Service and these Terms. If a change is significant, we will give notice on the site or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, you may delete your account.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Malaysia, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
